be honored along with Jefferson County Office of Senior
Citizens Services
In
recognition of the International Year of the Older Persons,
The United Nations Association of the Unites States of America
to honor the Jefferson County Council on Aging and the Jefferson
County Office of Senior Citizens Services
October
11, 1999, Jefferson County Alabama: The United Nations Association
of the United States of America, Greater Birmingham Chapter,
has chosen the Jefferson County Office of Senior Citizens
Services and the Council on Aging - Meals on Wheels to be
honored. On Friday, October 15th at 11:00 a.m., in recognition
of the International Year of the Older Persons, a luncheon
will be held at the Alabama Power Company Auditorium located
at 600 18th Street North.
