The Jefferson County Finance Department manages the financial operations of the Jefferson County Commission through accounting, payroll, budgeting, sewer services billing, purchasing, risk management and occupational health
divisions. The Department manages the County's debt
portfolio; the County's investment portfolios; and a cooperative purchasing program which reduces costs to members including many cities within the County.
