Cooper Green Hospital
Cooper Green Hospital supports several important special programs designed to meet the needs of people who need specialized medical care. These programs include:
- St. George's Clinic - a comprehensive outpatient clinical program for HIV infected persons. This award-winning program coordinates all aspects of care from nutritional counseling to assistance with medication.
- Adult Sickle Cell Clinic - a program to coordinate the care of persons with sickle cell anemia. The staff works closely with University Hospital and Children's Hospital.
- Women's Health Center - a primary care women's practice that offers a complete range of women's health care services.
- TeensFirst - a clinic developed in partnership with The Children's Hospital of Alabama specifically to meet the health needs of adolescents between the ages of 14 and 20
