Green Hospital maintains a fully staffed and accredited emergency room.
The emergency room physicians work closely with the Hospital's other staff
physicians to insure timely and appropriate care. Cooper Green Hospital
is a member of the Birmingham Regional Emergency Medical Management System.
This system closely coordinates emergency services throughout the county.
Emergency room charges for persons enrolled in the HealthFirst Program are reduced based on family size and income. Please see the HealthFirst page for more information on enrollment and fees.
