Emergency Shelter Program
Return to the Office of Community Development
This program is designed to help improve the quality of existing emergency shelters for the homeless, make available additional emergency shelters, help meet the costs of operating emergency shelters, and provide certain essential social services to homeless individuals. It is important to insure that these persons have a safe and sanitary shelter in which to receive the supportive assistance that they need to improve their situation.
