Return to the Office of Community Development
The funding source for infrastructure projects is the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and all funded activities must meet at least one of the following three national objectives:
- Serve an area consisting of at least 51% low to moderate income residents
- Address an urgent need (This is defined as a situation that has not existed for more than 18 months and if left unattended, would be detrimental to the health and property of the community.)
- The elimination of slums and/or blight from an area
